Enter Adrian Beale, a face from her past. Soon, she’s more conflicted because while she knows she needs to move on, making Adrian an ideal candidate, Josh won’t go away.

She decides to put both boys aside to focus on winning state, but when she witnesses an scandalous situation, can she erase what she’s seen, or will the images plague her performance? Can Sarah move on from an old love to a new one, and will she carry her squad to victory?

Jennifer Anderson's Biography
I'm a Mommy, wife and now author. Even though I've spent many years on either coast, I've spent a majority of my life in the Midwest. Here is where my heart grows with the love and support of my family and friends and here is where I find inspiration for my stories.

I didn't grow up wanting to be an author but knew I needed to do something creative. After many years or moving from one job to the next and not finding happiness, I set pen to paper and began work on a Young Adult novel that will never see the light of day. And that's okay.

Finally, after a year or two of bringing life to the stories in my head, I got a break. Ice Princess, Book 1 from the Honey Creek Royalty series released April 2012. Prince Charming, Book 2 releases September 2012. Queen Mean, Book 3 releases December 2012. In 2013, King of the Lake, the 4th and final book releases in March.

I'm also excited to announce Spider, my first non-series YA novel will also release in 2013. Stay tuned for more news.

Impromptu Monday Visit from #author @suzannelilly New #Book Release!

Help me in welcoming the wonderful Suzanne Lilly, fellow Turquoise Morning Press author, to my blog this Monday morning. She has a new book out and would love it if you'd check it out!

What book(s) most influenced you as a writer?
A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. I read this years ago, and the way he wove all the details together into one seamless story left me in awe. I only hope that someday I will be that talented as a writer.

What book do you read over and over again?
Chocolat by Joanne Harris. I’m telling you, her writing is lyrical, and every time I read this book or the sequel, The Girl With No Shadow, I’m completely drawn into her world.

Tuesday Trio-
1)      Movie- Shadows in the Sun. It’s about a writer who travels to Italy and falls in love with a woman, her family, and the country. Another fabulous one, (because I can’t choose just one,) is Letters to Juliet. Again, it’s in Italy, it’s about writing, and falling in love.
2)      Music- This is going to show my age, but I’m a Beatles fan. I still listen to their music in my car.
3)      Decadent Dessert- Chocolate Volcano Cake. My daughter-in-law makes the best in the world!

What’s the most interesting or bizarre bit of trivia you’ve learned from researching for a novel?
While writing a novel about the gold rush in California, I learned that a gold nugget weighing 160 pounds was found in 1854 at Carson Hill in Calaveras County. That amount of gold would be worth almost $5,000,000 today!

Novel on your Nightstand:
Who/what are you currently reading?
Crush, by Dani LaBue.

Whom would you cast as your Hero & Heroine if your book became a movie?
Jennifer Lawrence from Hunger Games would make an awesome Mariah Davis.
Taylor Kitsch from John Carter is my Kevin Creamer.

Shades of the Future, by Suzanne Lilly available July 15, 2012.

What would you give to see the future? Would you make your dreams come true? Would you change the things you didn’t like?

Mariah Davis loves animals, running, and her hunk of a boyfriend, Kevin Creamer. Everything looks bright for her until the day she finds a pair of sunglasses that allow her to see the future.
When she glimpses a disaster looming, she tries to avoid it but fails. She has a car accident that lands her in a wheelchair, smashing her hopes for a running scholarship to the veterinary program at Ohio State University. She pushes Kevin away, thinking he’ll want to end their relationship now that she can’t walk.

Will she ever learn to trust and love again? She could search for an answer in the sunglasses. But she’s afraid what they reveal might destroy her.

Here’s a short excerpt from Chapter 1

Mariah scooted closer to the inside of the booth to read the digital display. As she slid across the red vinyl seat, something poked into her thigh.
“Hey, somebody left a pair sunglasses here.” She picked them up, rubbing her leg where the frame had made a dent in her skin.
“Those are nice,” Hayley commented between fries.
“These aren’t random sunglasses. These are Dita Aviators.” Mariah turned them over, checking the thin metal frame to make sure she hadn’t bent it. She held them up to the overhead light. The lenses were clean and unscratched. “Plus, they’re like brand new.”
“Let me see them.” Hayley took the glasses out of her friend’s hands and started to put them on.
“Give them back,” Mariah told her. “Your hands are all greasy and cheesy. Not to mention saliva-y.”
Hayley laughed and handed the aviators back across the table to Mariah. “When I have clean hands, I’ll try them on. They’ll look good on me.”
“You think? How do they look on me?” She put them on and a warm tingle of fun washed through her veins.

A word or two from Suzanne about what she's up to this month-

I’ll be on blog tour during the month of July, celebrating with a giveaway of a pair of designer sunglasses to one lucky commenter. I’ll be posting the schedule with dates and blogs on my author website, http://www.suzannelilly.com, and my TeacherWriter blog, http://www.teacherwriter.net. A Honey Creek Young Adult Book
Honey Creek Royalty Series, Book One

Mya Newman never minded the routine or quiet that came with living in a small country town like Honey Creek, Ohio. For her senior year, she craved something exciting to happen instead of it melting into a cookie cutter routine like the previous years.

When a new girl, Audrey Moore, moves to Honey Creek, Mya finds herself caught in a triangle. She discovers hidden feelings for her best friend, Michael Graves, but he seems to have eyes for the new girl.

After Mya’s father becomes ill and eventually passes, she turns to her best friend, Michael. Never leaving her side, she can’t help but wonder if he’d rather be elsewhere. With fear of rejection and loss of friendship, Mya decides she can’t confess her recently discovered feelings.

When Michael and Mya share a dance at the Winter Formal, does she confess her true feelings for him? Or does she shy away, forever longing to be the princess who finds her prince?

#TuesdayswithTaryn Q&A with @JulieALindsey, #Author of #Bloom @HoneyCreekBooks #readers

Tuesdays with Taryn
Julie A Lindsey

What book(s) most influenced you as a writer?
Wuthering Heights because it was the book that got me interested in reading, and the one that taught me love comes in all forms- even if we don’t understand them.
I also have to credit the Twilight series for kick starting my love of YA, and inspiring my interest in sweet romance.

What book do you read over and over again? Well, I have a massive YA collection of hardbacks I read on the treadmill, plus a half dozen of the Stephanie Plum books from Janet Evanovich. And I still read Wuthering Heights every Christmas.

Tuesday Trio-
1)      Movie- 27 Dresses, Sweet Home Alabama, Killers,
2)      Music- As I’ve been writing for Honey Creek Books, I’ve been listening to more and more country music. Normally, I’m more of a pop girl though. I sing along with the Top 40 frequently (to the dismay of my 8 year old) and usually off key.
3)      Decadent Dessert- I love anything chocolate, especially a brownie sundae, yum!

What’s the most interesting or bizarre bit of trivia you’ve learned from researching for a novel? I learned a person could, if they were so inclined, add oxycontin to an unsuspecting person’s powdered coffee creamer, and if they were a big creamer user, they’d be a little whack-a-doo from it. LOL. Don’t ask.

Novel on your Nightstand:
Who/what are you currently reading? I’m reading an ARC of Dreamless by Josephine Angelini today. I finished a novel called Everneath by debut YA author Brodi Ashton, and yesterday I finished a delicious YA title Hallowed by Cynthia Hand. I’m a HUGE YA addict.

Whom would you cast as your Hero & Heroine if your book became a movie? Well, if I get to pick LOL I’d ask Reese Witherspoon to play Cynthia and Alex O’Laughlin to play Mitchell.

BLOOM blurb:
In a town filled with her past, she never expected to find her future….

Seven years ago Cynthia left Honey Creek with a broken heart. Three years ago Mitchell arrived with one. Now Cynthia’s come home, and these two hardened hearts can’t stop arguing. If they’d only take a break long enough to find some common ground, they might be surprised to find love can grow anywhere.

If they let it, love will find a way to Bloom.
