Pecan Sandies
Ingredients-
1 Cup of Butter (2 sticks)
1/3 Cup Sugar
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
2 Cups All Purpose or Self-Rising Flour (either)
1 Cup Chopped Pecans
¼ Cup Powdered Sugar (confectioner’s sugar)
2 Teaspoons Water
Directions-
1. Preheat oven to 325ยบ
2. Beat Butter for 30 seconds
3. Add Sugar and beat until fluffy
4. Add Vanilla and 2 teaspoons water; beat well
5. Stir in flour and pecans
6. Shape into balls(about 1 inch balls)
7. Place on ungreased cookie sheets
8. Bake for about 20 minutes
9. Cool completely and shake a few at a time in a Ziploc bag with powdered sugar

Almost forgot these...I'm going to try for a low carb version. Will let you know how it turns out. Hmmm guess I'll be going into town for some pecans!
